Replica swords are one of my loves. I collect replicas from a variety of different historical periods, as well as from some of my favorite films. A substantial portion of my friends also collect swords, and something that I find interesting is checking out the types of swords they each collect. It can be something of an indicator of their personality. Just as some people can determine bits of their friends’ personalities through the books that they read I do the same with replica swords. The favorite hobby of my buddy who has video game replicas in his basement is, of course, playing video games. My friend who collects swords from movies (in fact, he has all of the replicas from Lord of the Rings) is a fantasy movie buff. Myself, I like the historical replicas. And I bet you can guess what channel I usually have my television turned to, can’t you?
